quick chicken question

I'm going out to see some of my friends chickens.

I wanna bring 'em a treat. what can I bring? I have some veggies in the fridge, a couple squash, oatmeal?

suggestions?

an apple?

All that is good, but are they cooked veggies? Unless its leaves, they prefer the veggies cooked. Pasta is also a good one, and thespaghetti is hilarious to watch. and, while its not good for them--they love french fries.

Have any plain yogurt? Mine love it, I think it is their favorite treat....aside from grilled salmon :rolleyes:

Mine love bread as treats. Sliced white bread is their favorite. I tear it off in pieces and toss it to them.

You don't need to take anything but a shovel.....just turn over a patch of dirt until you hit worms and stand back!

went and saw them today.

Took 'em an apple. they tore it up. funny!

they were so gentle. we held several. (hubby was there too)

can't wait to get my own.
