R.I.P Fatty :-(

a week ago, someone who bought our eggs, saw a worm in fatties egg.


Last night, Fatty was looking ill, she had blurry black eyes and a flushed red face.

We gave her some garlic chunks (maybe she had a stomach bug)
Note: Fatty is a very easily scared hen, when she was ill she didn't move.

Description: flushed red / pink face, blurry black eyes, huddled up but standing up, no movement, um.. no vomiting or coughing though.
We put her in the chicken house hoping she would be okay.

It's sad to say but last night I was having a shower, I heard clucking and lots of noises from the chicken house. We rushed outside, she was dead...

Her neck was curled up, she was warm though, that means she died early.

We buried her next to our young orange tree.

Goodbye fatty, you were always a funny, cute sassy girl.
Goodbye sweet girl, have a nice time in heaven.

For some reason, it's more sad than when summer died. I think it's because we have known her more
