well feed costs are rising, i have materials laying around, and im thinking of building a rabbit tractor.

do any of you have experience with rabbit tractors? got any designs you like?

When I had pigs, they got fresh grass cuttings daily. Mowed a strip with the grass catcher an dumped the bag to them. 😊. Kept an area clean just for that use. Rabbits need less....rake up? Or dry some for hay.

Otherwise....use your empty chicken tractor? But, same build idea for bunnies, IMO. Now, if you are leaving them overnight..??..that's way different, they dig out.

My experience is it needs to be a large area or moved frequently. My pen was about 5 sq ft per 2 lb rabbit, and had to move it every hour. My pen was open on top, so I had to keep it in the shade mid-day. A solid top or shade cloth would have been much better. I gave up quickly on tractor for feeding. I fed grass clippings fresh or dried instead
