Raising bees?

When I am working with bees, I seem quite content. And I can't even explain why. Its a mystery. I sing hymns and sometimes they are going a bit wild and I just work with them and then calmly walk off and allow them to settle down, before I remove the protective gear. It seems to give me a strange sense of satisfaction that I simply can't quite figure, let alone talk someone else into.
When people question me about it all, they wear a look of surprise and confusion and I am certain that they can't understand me at all.

Rhonda, I know exactly what you mean. I think for me its the sounds they make. Its almost hypnotic. Sometimes when I am really stressed, work and whatnot on my nerves, I will take a chair out and just hang out with them. All that happy buzzing just melts the stress away!
