I found this site while doing some research on exactly what was rationed during WWII and rationing worked. This site is just too neat not to pass along!

That is really interesting. I had to laugh tho, I drive 15miles one way to work and people around here do not want to car pool...wow

I have a box of ration tokens/coins that were in my grandparents house.
They hung onto them all those years, going through something like that, and with a family never really gets out of your head I guess.

My Dad has ration coupons and booklets and such also. So cool. Can you imagine having to have a ration ticket for a pair of shoes? LOL---wild...Dad said those times were rough but everyone made do...not like us whiney babies today..HA HA
