That was a good article. Thanks. Many things have been influenced by practicality down through the years. In my opinion the "certified" milk inspections must have been hit-or-miss and not very reliable at all. Pasteurization was a sure-fire method of making the milk supply safe and easily implemented.

I drink only raw milk now (goat and cow) and use it to make my yogurt and cheese.
