I just saw this thread. I would have gone had I known!

I can't believe they dumped the milk - it's not like raw milk is illegal here, they just didn't have a permit.

I have heard that the city is cracking down hard on small businesses lately. They work hard to strangle all that is good and interesting out of the city, but so far they have not succeeded. Often these things backfire and mobilize people who don't like it; I hope that's what happens here.

Exactly! This is why everyone should watch "Food Inc." and "The Future of Food" documentary films. These are foreign-owned, huge, multinational corporations who have infiltrated every aspect of our government. It's difficult to tell which of the three branches of our central government is most corrupted by these wealthy individuals from central and northern Europe. When the feds arrest you for growing green beans, you'll wish you had watched these films and done something, even just talking about it. How can a foreign corporation patent a plant that G*d created and your grandfather has been growing in America since you were a child? How can the Supreme court take away your right to save seeds and grow your own food? It's happening people! This issue transcends all social and political boundaries, and deals with human and constitutional rights.
