Okay Auntie... I want to use the waist cincher from THIS DRESS ...

Actually I plan to make the whole dress. Only better. Because I can.

Purple and black.

I already have a hoop skirt....

Anyway, I think that would work for the waist.

Are these real dresses that hold up to some wear, or are these costumes? I see several that I would LOVE to have, but they're too short for my taste, so I'd wear a long skirt underneath. Especially some for pioneer re-enactment.

Have you ever owned one of these? And is it wholesale or open to the public?
