What great idea. I have never heard of rocket mass heaters until now but the concept makes perfect sence. I am looking forward to checking out some of your other videos.

Still learning about such things, but being somewhat compulsive, I was wondering how you clean the ashes out. What did I miss?

Still being compulsive, I did see soot falling on the bricks. For me, that would limit the applications to outdoors, unless it was vented to the outside.

Different folks clean the ashes in different ways. Some it is once every ten burns, and some it is every burn. Usually, you just reach down and grab a handful. Some people choose to use a shop vac.

soot: I don't think any of that is soot. Nor is it falling. That was there before from different experiments that most people won't do in their homes.

Thanks, Paul. The portability twist is a good one.
