Made my cinnamon rolls last night. I posted that in the bread section. which one I am not sure lol. Couldnt make my pies, am doing that this am.
I didnt want to put ROO in quarantine...But I did. He and miley are in the garage, ROO has antibiotic in his water. I figure I will keep him in there this weekend, maybe longer. Not sure what I should do. I just know I want him better.

Just wanted to let ya'll know...I do not have the crud lol.

ROO an miley are still in quarantine. I figure I will keep them there for at least a week. Then....I will put them in with general population and put bob and one of the hens om quarantine. Not because there is anything wrong with them.....but because ROO will need to acclimate back into the group. I am trying to avoid any fighting amongst them. So I will keep everybody off balance.

I cleaned my kitchen, loaded the wood stove, did laundry, fed the chickens, went into town. Then I realized I was trying to postpone the egg decorating. SO, I got started. Then frustrated because I couldnt make hangers for them. Hubby came home and made them for me . Here is the first picture....blown eggs

here is a pic of when I was trying different things for hangers. I THOUGHT this would be easier than building a platfom for them to sit on, HA....not

Here are the first painted ones....wish I had more colors.

Finally, here are most of the eggs. Painted of course. Hubby even got into it....he gave me one of his automotive paints to use. That would be the one on the far left bottom. Gunmetal is the color. I love gunmetal. Still have to decorate them..

WOW!! Those are gorgeous!! I love the gold ones!! They seem like they would be perfect handmade and unique one of a kind ornaments to give as a gift!! Now I am wanting to make some! How did you blow out the insides and make such a nice neat hole in the end and what did you use for hangers??

I get a duck egg every once in a way and they would be perfect for this!!!! I totally need a tutorial on how to get the insides out! I am totally hooked on trying this! I have to make a handmade item for a gift exchange next Friday and there is no way anyone has ever received a gift like this!

So,
which hanger did work best? You tried several, I see. I have blown eggs alot of times, and I've seen alot of art work on eggs. I've never made the hangers for them though? Thats neat!
Great job!
