i got 2 pair of lacross rubber boots today new because they were on sale and free shipping. i was wondering how long do yall think they would last if kept in the box in the house before they would start dry cracking i was thinking that probly be 2 years or more and that i probly will be waring them before they dry rot in the box

It is air that gets 'em, it seems, so seal them up tight in plastic. Vacuum seal them if you can. I find that rubber rings for antique canning jars keep a long time in a ziploc freezer bag and regular rubber bands last a long time with the same storage.
