Oh my gosh, I am so sad for you. I've done stuff like that myself and know how you must feel.
As others have said, it is a tough lesson learned. The combination of guilt and sadness over the loss is hard to bear.

Im so sorry about your chickies! Arkansas weather is unforgiving too. Roxanne may have liver disease. That's how I lost my BR Eva. Her belly was swollen and she was not laying. I thought she was egg bound but could not feel anything. I took her to out vet. There was nothing I could do for her but let her go. She was 2. I hope for the best. Losing a pet is hard.
