I love the show Cooks Country on channel 11. I was looking at their site and I found this list:

Some of these sound awesome!
Once they get your e-mail address you will hear from Cooks Country/Cooks Ilustrated AKA American Test Kitchen(same people Country is directed to simple foods while Ilustrated is more up-scale) about once a week. They are very big on teasing, offering info only if you buy a membership. I haven't siced my spam filter onto them yet but I will soon. They offer a free trial but won't tell you what the cost will be until the trial runs out. I think they hope to hook a few that get used to the free version.

It is $24.95 per year for a website membership, a bit much IMO! Considering the millions of free recipes on the internet...

Since most of the content is recycled from their magazines and/or their TV show and is up to 5 years old I would say it is way over-priced,

Do you know how much food I can get for $24.95? I see now how tricky they are too. When I went on there website yesterday to look up some of these recipes again a thing popped up about recieving a free trial. I couldn't get out unless I gave them my address. finally I just X'd the window out completely. That stinks I really enjoyed their show.
Oh, well, as you said there are plenty of other recipes out there. Just forget I ever mentioned this.
