Saving water while flushing.

Because most of my free time is spent searching for ways to b frugal (it;s like an obsession or something ) Icame across this: http://frugalliving.about.com/od/householdsavings/ht/Low_Flow.htm This is new to me. i have nevr heard of replacing the flapper yearly..

miss_north... Good post but a word of caution to those with teenagers. Sometimes its just best to use the extra water.
We tried that water saving flapper thingy. After about 2 weeks of constant stopped up toilets we decided we would save that for after the kids moved out. LOL
We have now adjusted our tank to use less water but if the kids are coming to visit we adjust it back to regular water. The boys sure do like to use that TP.
