Scat ID

IDK... the seeds, grass and grains has me confused. Tank my new lab put was growling this morning with his hair standing up on his back first thing this morning. I couldn't see what he was seeing/smelling.

There's a lot of "roughage" if fox, foxy needs some meat. There's a lot of wild meat running around, around here.

I can't really tell what size it is but get the impression that it was not just one animal. I would not rule out raccoons or skunks.

though usually you can smell them if they are around.

The top/seedy one looks like coon. The bottom I don't know but looks kinda like coyote but seems real close to the house for that. Although I've seen many animals go after another to make it their smell.

I was going to say fox or coyote. We’ve had a Fox bothering the birds the last few days, so I’ve been doing some reading up on them. They eat a lot of things. I hope whatever it is doesn’t get your birds. I’m down by two. 😞

So atleast some of the scat has been positively ID'ed as fox.
