Yep, a couple hours a day is all I would need. I could live off generator power, don't think DH and DD could though...they'd run it 24/7

The couple hours a day must be what does the trick. Last time we didn't have power for days, some of the farmers went around loaning people their generator for a couple hours, then it'd go on to the next family.
