Around here, we swap one set of chores for another set of chores. Soon it will be hauling firewood, agh. We didn't get enough cut for the winter, we're about three cords short, so we'll be out looking for dead wood to cut up and calling people to buy some.

My husband and the kids have already been getting in the firewood. They won't go out today, since it's Sunday, but starting tomorrow DH and his dad will go down in the morning, get up a truckload, haul it home, and DH will split and stack it during the day. Then in the evening after kids are home from school and homework is done, they'll go back out - DH, FIL, and oldest 2 kidders and haul home another truckload.

We've been blessed in our neighbor lady has said we can come get all the firewood we want out of their 15 acres. They had the place logged, and there's tons of tree tops and small logs left for us to get. Mostly Oak and Maple
