With all of this snow, my son decided to get the old sled out that my father and I built about 30 years ago. It's 12' long, 3' wide, with a 12' tongue. The front runners turn on a fifth wheel made from a disc brake rotor. This allows the front runners to turn at a 90+ degree angle. The sled will slide sideways just as good as if you were pulling it forward, so if one drives like Mrs. Tallman, the riders really get a wild trip.

Cool! :thumbsup
When I was a kid we had this snowbug that had a long sled like seat like that that was pulled behind a tracked engine...this reminds me so much of that...we used to put five or six of us on the seat and go look for things to run over or crash into:)
