Yay on the county getting your culvert in...we had to do our own and boy, was it fun. We had no problem getting it in place but it had been a wet summer so we had trouble getting the gravel to cover it as all of the close gravel pits were "rained in" and couldn't deliver when we were here in AR to do that chore.

Have you checked your local sales papers for mobile homes? We see them listed "for sale by owner" in ours quite often...just a thought.

Love the birdseed wreath. I need to make one of those and maybe that would make it rain...my usual rain tricks aren't working this year and I'm running out of ideas!

I've checked CLs in all surrounding areas. Every day. And foreclosure websites and called every bank, finance company and mortgage broker in the phone book. Tomorrow I start calling banks in surrounding areas. There is one in Hattiesburg that is really nice but a bit too much. And another one here in this area to look at Saturday. I get the paper on Sundays so I get the most bang for my buck and a half. What makes me mad is that I can hardly get a realtor to call me back.

Buddys appetite is getting better already! And he is staying cooler.

Tomorrow I get to make bread, 2#s of pico de gallo and fry up some bell peppers, onions, jalapenos and tomatoes for DHs eggs for a week. Will be having "Fix your own
d@%n dinner night. He wants chicken fajitas and I want chicken quesadillas. I have frozen, cooked, shredded chicken from when I canned it for the dogs broth (for their dinner) I'll make spanish rice and refried beans so it is like going to a Mexican restaurant.

Better go to bed soon so I am awake enough to heat up breakfast and feed the dogs at 5am.

I'll keep an eye out for things around here that might be worth the effort to get down there for ya. I run up on things really cheap at times. I mean, 4K for a decent mobile home, just to move it. I think that is doable myself I know folks who haul them too, so may be able to work out a really good deal. If I find anything noteworthy, I'll PM you.

We looked at a 16x60 today. We will find out if that will be the one on Monday I hope. Then I will post a couple of photos. It would sure be nice to have something to move into when we get out there!

Helped at the ranch today and will be helping dh tomorrow also.
