We've actually had company today! Friends came to visit from Monroe, LA. They are staying in a motel tonight. We are going to breakfast in the morning and then out to the ranch to show them where we may be living soon. I cooked dinner tonight--Chili, cornbread and made Debs brownies for dessert. We may go to some flea market type places tomorrow afternoon.

DH and I are taking care of the cows on Sunday morning and not sure where the day will go from there.

Our company went home this afternoon.:hit We had lots of fun visiting and hope they can come back when we have enough room that they can sleep at our house!!! We don't have to take care of cows tomorrow so I'll be off to Walmart, Dollar Tree and "a mall"! I haven't been in a mall since we lived outside of Cheyenne. And our friends have been storing a few totes for us since leaving FL about 9 years ago. They brought one with them that has photo albums and I can hardly wait to get into it tomorrow!!!

That's about it for now as I am pooped! Have a good night!

Well, I just couldn't make myself go into the mall. Maybe next time. I did buy a few blouses and some shorts at Bealles Outlet--yay! Even found some knee socks to wear with my boots. Yep, I am a fashion statement!:rolleyes:

My vacuum sealer came yesterday! Wish I could use it but I promised I wouldn't even open it until we move-no room.

I've only gone through a few photos and what a rush of memories! Haven't seen them for over 9 years. My childhood album is not with this tote but there are two more.

Today, I am doing some organizing in preparation for the move. Speaking of which, the fencing is ordered and I believe the out building is also. I will be out there Thursday and if they have started doing any fencing then I will take photos.

Does anyone know if dry erase markers will come off of a mirror? I don't have any but thought a larger mirror (with frame) would make a good daily to do list. Also for timing cheese, canning and cooking.
 
I don't know why they wouldn't come off of a mirror. Worth a try anyway.

We just picked a small dry erase board from WalMart. It's just over 5" wide by 13 1/2" long, paid $5.00 for it and works great in the camper, size-wise! I got it for doing about the same things that you listed and yes...the marker comes off the mirror just fine. I just had to try it out to see if it would! :D

If you ever visit Arkansas, you'll have to come visit doc and I and we'll take you to the Cave City Mall. I think you'd like it and I will get a pic of it tomorrow as we're doing our civilized visit then. ;)
 
I can't even imagine what the Cave City Mall would be! I'm game! It'll be a while before we go anywhere again though. Someone tried to give us a vacation last week and we both said we just want to get moved into a home and stay there! But after a bit, I know I'll be ready!

I just picked up some of the dry erase markers from Dollar General.

Organized the cabinets over the couch in the livingroom and three hallway cabinets. Went to the grocery store for a few things including canned veggies for 50 cents a can. Stocked up a little bit. Pretty slow day for me!
