Late For Supper
.....I go out to see wth was going on. As I head out the back door, pistol in hand, I hear something in the field behind the house. Shine the flashlight out into the field and find not one, not two, but EIGHT STEERS!!! We have spent the past few hours trying to keep track of them and find out where the hell they live!!
Found out they lived about 1/2 mile north of our place! We got them all rounded up and back in the barn where they belong. Found out they are only 3 weeks away from being turned into steaks and hamburgers. All have been sold except ONE! 800lbs of grain fed and NO growth hormone beef on the hoof!! Since I helped them out they are offering us the last one at bargain basement prices.
Looks like we will buying ANOTHER freezer in a few weeks!
