it worked wonderfully. No emissions from either of us. Crock pot beans, turnip greens, and corn bread, an excellent dinner. Guess I gotta see what else to do with whey other than bean soaking and bread liquid.

Small amounts are fine, and they should not be overly toxic.
My dh used to be real bad, but now that we eat only real food, no problems. Unless he cheats. Which is happening less and less now :)
