Soil building over winter

Maybe a little lazy but this is how we do it!

Leaf litter is great for soil building as long is they are not walnut leaves. I don't think I've ever seen such a flat garden space. I would love to get my tiller in that garden dig it up deep and rake up some high rows. What are you doing for excess water dranage?

Sorry. Just took a break from homestead stuff (except for daily chores) for the holidays. Got a little burned out.

Nothing. Its sand. We have hot dry summers so its never been an issue. Water retention has always been the thing
