Yay for happy MOO news!
Boo on specialists. I'm RIGHT there with you... I can't stand doctors right now for the most part. I avoid them like the plague! Any hope for doing research on natural remedies for your ailments? Lots of stuff out there to weed through, but there is some good info if you dig enough.

Edit to add: OMG I can't stand the city either!!! I can't WAIT to get out of here and awayyyyyyy from the city! And I'm technically not even in the city! LOL

Unfortunately, I haven't figured out the issue with my computer/IP yet. I t really isn't surprising, because I am a total dufus when it comes to computers Got on the phone with my IP tech dept. - the guy finally asked if there was anybody else in the house he could talk to? So, I need to let DH fix whatever it is, so I can post pictures again. I have a backlog of pic's to post!
Next year will be the most exciting for me - a 36" heifer + a 34" bull will make for the cutest, itty-bitty baby calf!! The farmer said to expect it to be about 18" at birth I can't wait!!

I take 8 natural supplements right now, not all for this stuff. Several have the 'added benefit' of boosting your blood, which is why (I believe) I've managed to stay out of the hospital thus far!
The local health food store just advertised for a supplement specifically for thyroid problems, so I'm going to stop by and pick some up the next time I'm over that way!

I used to live in San Antonio. I drove across town every day back and forth to work. Bumper-to-bumper traffic. Lived in an apartment. I was SO happy to get out to the country again! I am too antisocial to be around that many people on a daily basis!

Well, that is good. I just keep doing research and keeping an open mind. My mom fights arthritis, and I keep sending her options, which would be a big help since she doesn't have a job and my dad JUST got a new job (which doesn't include benefits either), and yet she doesn't seem all that interesting in doing things like drinking home made chicken bone broth or drinking a small amount of aloe each day just to see if it will help her feel better. It'd be LOTS cheaper than the drugs that is for sure! But whatever...
I have however, gotten her to use essential oils, which is great. She finds relief with that so I hope that I'll be able to keep getting her turned on to more things over time.

Yup, can't wait to get the heck out of here!!

What's really fun w/one way streets if if you've gotten directions from MapQuest, and they tell you to drive the wrong way on a one way street! I've had that happen a couple of times!

I cried, then yelled at her :/ Don't start talking biopsy this, run that test - I'm done! That sucking sound you hear are all you money grubbing Dr's draining every dime from us and then some! STOP! Fix the stinking problem I went in for - 4 months ago! - then we'll talk about all this other crap!

I have sooooooooo wanted to say that to a doctor for umpteen million reasons for my whole life.

Can I be you when I grow up?

I was expecting security to show up at any minute! Her eyes got wide, and she started stammering - end result: she's using the tests I ALREADY DID, I get her opinion/results by Monday, and the biopsy has been 'postponed until they solve your other problems' I am a very quiet, shy person, but even I reach a breaking point

I used a GPS once. I ended up in Center City Philadelphia w/a stock trailer w/3 horses, dressed in a bathing suit, t-shirt and my barn boots. I've never used 1 since.
