like for french fries etc.

It uses a good bit of oil sometimes when you fry the old way. How long do you keep this oil and how do you store it for next use?

just wondering.

I double strain it through a coffee filter after it cools and then store in mason jars in the cabinet.

At least 2-3 depending on how dirty it gets.

After that I add some of it to the dogs and cats food (little at a time).

It's shelf stable so you could go either way. I keep mine in a cool, dark cabinet and haven't had any problems :/

what is length of usage time inbetween?

like if I fry today...can I let it sit 2 months before I fry again? and then use it again, say 2 months later?

what is total length of time you would let it sit total before you took it out of cooking?

Location
Urban Idaho.
If you use it to fry fish it will pick up a fishy taste and smell.
