stupid duck question

Nicole and I were doing hen--girl rooster-boy
buck--boy
doe--girl
stallion-boy
mare--girl

well we got to duck

a male is a drake right?

what in the world is a female duck called. I truly can not remember.
and I googled it and NO WHERE did it say what a girl duck is called...LOL

sad question but my memory is just gone and it is blank.

all my duck ladies are "Miss" such as Miss Duck, Miss Dash, and Miss Mollee

They are cute, but they are so messy. We have 3 geese. They are messy too. We put 3 5 gallon buckets out side of their shed and no water inside. They spend dawn till dusk outside with the door to the shed open. They love squirting that water through their nose.

we've got ducks and geese. thankfully they spend most of the time down at the pond.

hands down i have the meanest gander this side of the Mississippi. seriously. i have a chunk missing from my arm from him. he's a hen killer a dog chaser, and i pity the fool coyote that tries to take him down. i tell the delivery guys its not the dogs they have to watch....its the gander.

but i love that ol' son of a golly-what.......

(but most people say HEN so either works)

Now...what the heck do you call a male quail? I call him my little roo but no idea if that is right
