Checked up on lil ducky. Lil ducky was under Lone duck. I woke lil ducky up and put some feed in the waterer and lil ducky tried to go swimming while drinking and eating the floating food. I'm pretty sure lil ducky was born this morning, cute lil thing. It's funny how the chicken chicks move out of lil Ducky's way. Lil Ducky runs fast, keeps the chicken chicks on their toes. Who knew ducks could be so entertaining?

You guys should get some!!!
I'll really, really, enjoy having them, fly them, and hopefully do a couple wedding releases a summer (Extra feed money). I hope I can get them to earn their keep.
People pay $50+ a bird to release at weddings, funerals, graduations and the like!

I read what you said about meat birds too. That’s really smart! What breeds do you recommend for that?

I haven't. I personally think it's pretty cruel to kill something so young.
But I would like to try adult pigeon or dove!

Their very smart, actually one of the smartest animals.
