I like verses 9, 10 and 11.
9 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
This speaks to me as a self sufficiency person. What would be the point of having the perfect farm, the perfect garden or cooking the perfect meal if you had no one to share it with? We need to never lose sight of how important other people are to us. Spouse, family, friends (even on line ones) and neighbors is what makes life truly nice.
How nice it is to have someone work beside you to reach a similar objective. Helping you out when the going gets rough or even just cold. The interesting fact here is that I usually think about how much faster and better the work gets completed. Instead we should be more focused on the companionship and shared experience with the other person.
How many times have I personally made a mess of that companionship, because the focus has been all wrong and I got wrapped up in the work and what the finished product should be like? Too many.

"Does not work well with others" should often be on my T-shirt.
My prayer is that I learn this lesson well and make those changes.
