Wow, no posts for over a week.

Anyone have a positive, uplifting story to share today?

I've been too beat. But, I'm starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel-just so long as it isn't a train!

Could I ask for prayers for two people.

One is someone just having a rough personal go of things lately and need a pick-me-up.

The other is my eldest DD who is sick with fever and sore throat right now has been for 3 days) and may not be able to make her HS Choir trip to NYC tonight. I'm fearing tonsilitis.

Yep! Hubby announced that he would like to get baptized.....DD 8 jumped right in with her desire to get baptized as well

Since I was baptized as a baby I guess I am getting in line as well

Baptism is such a simple act of obedience and it alone won't get you to heaven. I was so confident of that I waited to get baptized, just to "show people". I wish I had not waited so long!

After being baptized I really began to feel God's hand and blessing in my life! He rewards obedience.

Ironically that was our topic in church this week. We are discussing spiritual gifts, what they are, how to indentify yours and finally how to use it.

I could use some prayers for patience and tolerance myself. I'm hitting a REALLY rough spot, and trying to maintain
some peace in the midst of a war I don't even want a part in, but am currently stuck in. *sigh* Teenager mess, everybody probably can understand that, I'd rather not go into details. Nothing horrible, just a bunch of drama. I could use a rock to crawl uner for a couple years while she "grows out" of it
