The non-heirloom seed trading/giving/receiving thread!

I know I've got some things I can share. I'll have to go through everything today or tomorrow!

I have some seeds to trade

climbing okra
Hopi tobacco
Echinacea
Sweet basil

What is climbing okra? I have Clemson Spineless Okra, probably enough seeds to last me 50 years if I planted 50 per year... Not sure of how viable they are, but they may be worth something if anyone wants any.

Nothing wrong with non heirloom seeds EXCEPT...if you try to save seed from a hybrid, you won't normally get the same thing that you took it from as it is a combo of non-identical parentage. Sometimes the hybrids are designed for more damage resistance, better production, etc.. do well in our gardens.

Corn is so often GMO for the benefit of production growers. Most herbs are not GMO but some may be hybrid, even planted heirlooms can cross breed if close enough together.

Is there such a thing as not being hybrid and not being an heirloom? As I understand it my variety of Okra is not and heirloom, but I believe I can also replant it, the same with the Kentucky Wonder green beans.
The only things I am aware of that are GMO are corn, soy, beets, and I think possibly potatoes. I don't think there is anything else out on the market right now that is GMO. I may be wrong about that. Sweet corn is not usually GMO, though it can be cross pollinated, which is a challenge.

Lets Bring life to this Thread! I Have some seeds I could give or trade if you would like. If anyone would like I have Bitter mellon,Luffa (Chinese okra),Buttternut and squash, spagetti squash. if anyone is instrested just say the word!

I have a lot of heirloom Tomato seeds from my years of crossing - some strange stuff... Like 1st generation ORoma crossed with Delicious. I need to go though my seed stash and see what I could trade.
