The dolls would be fun too. One of my weirder friends never liked barbies when she was growing up but people kept giving them to her. She solved this. She gave barbie a mohawk, stripped her and hung her from a little noose, so when you opened the bedroom door she bapped you in the forehead.
They didn't give her any more dolls.
