Got the backhoe fixed and broke hydraulics 10mins later. Sat down the other night and picked out what we wanted to plant this coming year. DW helped me set up a schedule and goal board since im struggling to adapt to civilian life. Lack of swim lanes has been daunting.
You are on your own now, there is structure, but it’s totally different. Your wife is a wise woman in helping you set goals.

Well lots to update........
We got more done on the property. Still waiting on the well. I lost 2 months april and june working due to back and leg injuries. Started welding school in may to redo my certs that didnot tranfer from military. All school work for the welding portion is done through November. As of jun 15th. Once back to class i start testing out for the stuff due in December. Ive been helping teach my classmates and the class a head of me. 😆 ive been voted into the local American legion post 146 and now on the executive board. Im also a legion rider as well. Bubbles (DW) is starting up a soap and wax melt/candle business. Ive been working with my dad on his place and he on ours. We are almost finished with a canning/brewing/soap room at his farm. And the backhoe is broke again this time major. Parts are not available trying to find a fix for it. We have power on site too.

Unfortunately i hit a deer Saturday evening and the dually is down until insurance looks it over. Small amount of damage but due to its age they are already talking about totaling it. Busted a headlight, running boards, dented the door and the running board damage cut into a tire pretty bad. Deer had shattered shoulder and the running board chewed her up. I didnt let the deer suffer. Deer isnt going to waste either.

Well the truck is mostly fixed and not totaled. Plus we have been hitting it hard on the property since the beginning of the month.
