tomatoe strainer question

I have that same model inherited from my mom. It worked great until the aluminum body oxidized and I don't feel comfortable to run tomatoes through it any more.

I bought a Norpro squeezer which is a copy of the sqeezo and victorio. The norpro doesn't juice as well as the older model 200; have to run the skins through a second time.
 
how hard was it on the arm muschles???

i have heard of people useing thease...but up until
now have just been running through the blender...
for sauce...
 
It's not hard at all, more tedious than strenuous. We juiced over 60 lbs. of tomatoes this year, may do some more since the tomatoes are still producing. If Abbotsford was close to me I'd check this item out, and buy it if it's in good shape.
 
It's a bargain on the model #200 I would go for it. Mine is a copy and it's also a #200 Back to Basics brand that I have been using for over 25 years. It's easy to use and makes your canning so much faster. Replacement parts are easy to come by if needed and there are other screens you can buy for berries,salsa and pumpkin. I wouldn't be without mine.
