One thing I'm jealous of those that live in warmer growing zones, is the varity of plants you can grow that those of us further north can never hope to grow unless we invest in a green house or something. Prime examples, you can grow dwarf citrus trees. Another I really wish I could grow is Passion Fruit. Besides the fruit being delicious, you can make not only wine from the fruit, but the leaves and flowers when dried can be used as tea that has calming or sedative.

I do have 2 satsuma trees (1 is struggling from our record freeze - several days below freezing... I know, I know... the other had tons and tons of ping pong sized fruit and they all dropped off, every single one. My kumquats are ok though.
