Trip is more relatable.
I did not get woken up from dog licking sounds!
He tried waking me this morning 4x. Nope! Go lie down! After his potty walk I took his cone of for training (a.k.a. feeding him). He quit after a couple repetitions, so breakfast is over. Cone on and he is in a down-stay on his bed - as far away from me as possible.
Hoping for better behavior today. I'm curious how he will act when DH gets home tonight. I hope it's better

She confirmed I'm on the right track in general but had helpful advice and a long list of spatial pressure training exercises. She recommended using elevated bed for his place/settle/stay behaviors, so I added one to my Walmart pickup order tomorrow morning. (perfect timing!)
