I just bought a 4 month old pair of Royal Palms....for $10 each!!! I can't believe I got such a great deal! Now I hope to have them, plus a breeding pair of my Buffs for next spring.

Very good deal! I don't know anything about turkeys. How long does it take for them to mature?

I remember a neighbor bought a few turkey one year, when he butchered them that fall, the one we had bought weighed 40 lbs! We had to quarter it to fit it into the oven, lol.

I've been trying to talk my husband into raising a few, but he doesn't like how difficult they can be to keep alive (on a good day, a domestic turkey is smarter than a radish)
