Yay! A lot of the trees here are budding out...Grass is green in a lot of places - weeds are knee high. If it were dry enough - I'd be mowing this weekend.

Yay! A lot of the trees here are snow covered...Grass is all snow covered - weeds are covered with knee high snow. I'll be snow blowing this weekend.

I'm waiting on the Robins and Geese to return before I call it spring. It'll be here soon. We haven't had much of a winter this year-4 or 5 snowstorms, with the latest melting away.

We are not quite out of the woods yet in southern IL. I plan on setting out spring garden hardy seedlings and seed sowing in two weeks from Saturday. Just waiting for that 20 degrees and below temperature to pass us.

It's wonderful seeing the first flowers of spring pop up :) We've been seeing Daffodils and others here for ages and I saw some trees budding too after the unusual warmth we had. I hope if we get another cold snap, which is likely, it won't hurt them.
