I know all about annoying IL's. My BIL crashed our bbq (we live on the same property as my inlaws) and he was not sober, and embarrased my SO although not me, and got royally reamed out for it by both my SO and my FIL. Hmm, i wonder how many more accronyms I could have put in that sentence?

Something to keep in mind on your wedding day "this is the last day of the best years of my life and the first day of prison". Kidding it will be a good day, make it how you want it and not how other's want it. My SO and I currently have an understanding. When we do decide to get hitched, I am planning everything with a friend of mine, all he has to do is show up, wearing what I tell him to wear, and leave everything else to me. Otherwise, he will make those bridezilla's you hear so much about look like spoiled rich little brats compared to how he will react to everything. I love him but somedays you just want to

lol, steak schmeak. give me a decent pork roast or pork chop any day

yeah, i totally understand about the soda thing. although, iced tea is water, just flavored, generally with stuff that helps your body at the same time
I cut myself off soda cold turkey and i'm really craving one some times. but, i need to just stick it out, ain't good for me and I really need to get my body healthy pleh

Getting off Diet Coke was SO HARD for me. If I saw someone in a restaurant with one...or something that looked like one...I'd fantasize about running over to take it out of their hand and gulp it down! How pathetic is that! I went cold turkey and haven't had a drop since, maybe...um....9 years ago? You can do it! You will save a ton of money and improve your health, too. I'm now addicted to homemade chai, hot and iced, with stevia, and kombucha.
