I take the blender apart totally anyway when I clean it. Never stopped to think what else might fit on the bottom!

Thanks! I have an Oster that is probably older than the one shown and have wanted one of the "bullets" that are smaller blenders but didn't want to part with the cash.. Gonna have to dig it out and try it... If it wasn't in the basement with the spiders I would go and try it right now! lol

This is pretty cool actually. I can get bulk spices through SO through his store so this might just be a cheaper way to do spices

I learned this trick long ago - a friend's mother, back when I was in high school (1960's) used a regular pint jar on her Oster blender to grind coffee beans.
