I found this yesterday and thought these pictures to be a sobering sight. This should be broadcast all over the news, but the news channels aren't going to tell the truth. A certain political party in our country is leaning heavily to Socialism. This is where we could wind up.

Venezuela -- what hyperinflation looks like.

Ferfal of The Modern Survivalist is a wonderful, but sobering, view of what economical collapse is like over the years.

"Inflation hit 82,700% in July as the country's economy continued to suffer" - Crazy Nuts, Plumnutty, toys in the attic... Surprised the leaders of the country are still alive.

Interesting, but tragic, news about Venezuela. The pictures definitely are sobering.

I’m a Canadian citizen, living outside the U.S. I thought I’d comment just a touch on a foreign public issue (in this case, the Venezuela inflation) being covered or not. Our largest national TV/radio broadcaster, CBC, has carried the facts of the inflation, and also reported on Venezuela during its socialist experiment of past years.

But up here we also get news via various major American news outlets — the full spectrum from Fox to NPR!

Washington Pos
t, Fox, New York Times, CNN, NPR, The Economist and other U.S. networks & publications have run stories about the grim realities of Venezuela’s hyperinflation.

I was struck by the stacks of money needed to make a purchase.

Just imagine having to carry that much paper money around just to buy a roll of TP. Might as well just wipe with paper money instead, it's probably cheaper and it looks like you could get more wipes per stack, than roll. Their paper money ain't worth hardly anything. Is it really worth even having at all? Like i said... Crazy! And this what the lefties want? Then maybe they should Become Venezuela citizens and move there for a while. How much you bet they would come back to the US crying like babies. I seem to recall a lot of them promised they were going to move to Canada or leave the planet (Cher) why haven't they yet? I think it's funny... I lived through 8 years of oboma and biden, i never liked the guys, but didn't complain or become a snow flake either. Good Lord!

Coming soon to a place near you. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst

I remember a picture of a guy with a wheelbarrow-load of paper money needed to buy a loaf of bread- this was in a country in Africa, but it's been so long ago I can't remember which one... Zimbabwe maybe?
