Venison Stew
1-2 lbs venison stew meat
3 cups beef broth
2 medium stalks celery, chopped
1 small bag carrots, chopped
6 oz tomatoe sauce
4 oz can mushrooms, sliced
3 bay leaves
4 medium potatoes, chopped
8 oz canned peas
2 tsp tapioca
Layer stew meat in bottom of crockpot. Peel and chopped potatoes and carrots. Pour in beef broth and tomatoe sauce. Layer carrots, potatoes, celery and mushrooms. Add bay leaves. Add tapioca. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Checking potatoes and carrots for doneness. Add peas about 1 hour before serving.
