"Castle to the rear." Gotta love how it seems so nonchalant to mention that there's a castle, lol! Almost like advertising a farm for sale here and saying "barn in the back."

Yep, if you're lucky here they'll throw in a castle when you buy a property. We have so many of the things here… I took that pic in Thurles yesterday btw. There is another castle within sight of that sign, just down the road. The one behind this property, that is part of the lot, is a smallish and in a sad state :(

It's been awhile since I took pictures. I snapped one a few days ago when I went for a walk with a friend. An old farmhouse ruin on farmland near our village.

That's not very green compared to most of the countryside here! Even now, in the middle of winter, it's green and beautiful out there. I said to a friend this morning, in summer this place is unreal.

Went for a long, long walk this morning… Snapped another pic of the castle ruin near here and then found this wall in a field. All that was left of the building, just the wall sitting there.

It was icy and snowy out this morning, mostly on the roads and roadside, the sun took care of the rest, wherever it could reach it. It was a lovely walk, if a bit cold!
