We walked a few miles this morning. Didn't get many good pics, as it was raining some of the way and I didn't want my phone to get wet, but it thankfully cleared when we got to top of the hill, so I got some from up there. (And some cows lol)

The village is down there somewhere to the left…

Slowly working our way up the hill… Looking back.

Cows on the way down. The road we took out the village is somewhere beyond the trees back there, on the right.

If you look VERY closely, down the centre, there is a tree in the field there, it's only tiny in this pic. We headed down from here, to the left for about 1/2 a mile, then slowly back to the right and our road home took us past (behind) that tree. It was a LONG walk, but it's lovely and the views from up there are amazing!

I knew I had another pic somewhere on my mess of a computer… I took this one about a week or so ago. I couldn't find out yet what that old building was used for. I think it was a factory or something. The house is attached to it, the owners renovated a bit of the derelict building and made that part of their home.

I will come to Ireland someday. My husband is very Irish (ancestry, born here). He is afraid if we visit Ireland he'll never want to come back! I'm Scottish, but rumor has it my clan was kicked out of Scotland and went to Ireland. Apparently we were troublemakers!

Loving the pictures, please keep posting!

I think lots of people feel that way when they come here! It's a privilege being able to live here. I am grateful every day still. And after going on 2 years I'm still blown away daily by the beauty of this country!

I skipped my second walk today, but if the weather allows, I'll be out again tomorrow and will see what I can find to photograph. I'm quietly working on a website about Ireland, not ready to share yet, but I will in time. I'm writing pieces about living here, the people, funny stories, what to expect etc. I need to travel around a bit more for more pics and info soon. I'll keep you all posted.
