Blueberries are doing good
we didn't get that truck. we called this morning and offered him $1600. He was about an hour North of here and had 2 others wanting to look at it, and said if he did not sell it to one of them, he'd take our offer. Well...he sold it.
It was a bit disappointing, but after thinking about it we were grateful.
we went on to DH's suprise birthday party
which was indeed a suprise
It was so funny he really had NO clue whatsoever
So, we enjoyed ourselves there. We had parked right next to a Nissan Frontier and DH commented about how he'd like to have one of those, and thought they were nice trucks and about the right size etc. etc. So, when we went to take niecey girl home, we were on the way back to the house, and saw a nice little Nissan Frontier parked out by the road. I had passed the drive so we turned around and went back. The guy said he had sold it just 15 minutes ago
THEN as we were pulling out, the guy yelled "wait a second" so I rolled down the window figuring he was going to tell us about another truck someone else had. As it turns out, he is buying his half brothers truck early next week to keep him from losing it to the repo man, and he planned on selling it at what it cost him to buy, which would be pay-off. It's a 2000 Chevy Silverado extended cab, and my first thought was it would be WAYYYYY out of our price range right now. He said 2500-3000 though
We haven't actually laid eyes on it yet, but his SIL has one identical that just so happened to be sitting right there and he told us the other was in just as good if not better shape. Nice clean, leather interior etc. etc. etc. but he won't have it until Monday, maybe Tuesday for us to come look. He is letting us have first choice, and will let us know the pay-off when he gets it, so we'll know how much. We told him if we can swing it, we are very likely going to get the truck. It just..."fell in our lap" easy peasy sweet as pie. I hope it works out. I think it will. Unless that truck has major flaws or runs like garbage, the Blue Book is $5500, we'll be getting it and that price even higher end of his estimate would be a STEAL if it is all he says it is! So I guess what I'm sayin is PRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have looked at a bunch more this weekend, and NONE comes close to the bang for our buck as this one seems like it will be. Even if we decide we don't like the thing we could trade or sell for more than what we have in it. I'm hoping we found our deal
It keeps freezing up! It's been like dial up speed for a few days

My body will hate me tomorrow for that!
