Actually my current produceing plants are almost done tomato wise and I will have a little bit of a break then! I have put away about 2 bushels of tomatoes already and they seem to be winding down a bit. We have other plants that will be producing soon, but not 30 at one time! I bet I stagger the planting more next yearjustusnak said:Just when you get to your busiest with canning, drying, cleaning, packing, washing....you will be all sweaty, and worn out...THEN they will show up! At least, thats how MY luck goes. LOL Sounds like you are pretty busy already...whew! My garden is no where NEAR producing yet.![]()
The peaches I have been working on were bought, and i put the last of that half bushel in the dehydrator today. Then I have baked eggshells I need to crush for the other tomato plants, and THEN I have refridgerator pickles to make, more squash to dry, more beans to put up, and I will be done
Small victory

I have to share my evil kitty story.
Amira knows she isn't allowed on the patio when I'm not there. She also knows I get snarly when she gets claws in the screen.
I caught her sneaking in the other day, and I realized she's been CLOSING the freaking screen door after herself.
I already knew she closed cupboards if she stole from them (she steals kombu and bonito flakes lol), so I won't know. I shoulda realized the evil kitteh was sneaking out by how she HOWLS anytime I had it locked. So now it has to STAY locked. She threw fits all night for three days and then decided to start waking me up early for breakfast instead. LOL.
*curtsies* that's my story.
Great story Abi! Goofy bandito kitteh
that is a good goofy cat story...........
For some reason I just am anxious to get to church this morning
Little niece stayed the night...she's in that stage where she can't make up her mind whether she wants to sleep over or go home...and changed her mind about staying after Mom drove her all the way over...so I MADE her stay anyway, and she was fine, never said another word. Kids are so silly sometimes, she loves going to church with us, dunno what her deal is/was, but I need to go wake her and get her dressed/fed/washed up. I love waking her up
Maybe she won't want to dangle from my neck this morning, my back hurts.. I musta slept like a pretzel
