Well.....sister was a no show..she didn't get served the papers in time. So, I spoke with the court appointed child avocate with my parents and their lawyer. the good news is they don't seem to think any judge in their right mind would send the kid back to my sister. Bad news is nothing got done. I'll have to be back to court in December as well. So nothing there.

Class was nice tonight. I brought refreshments for everybody since it was our last night together as a group. We had a good time, and i am TRULY gonna miss that group of people It's kinda weird The class tonight was about child discipline Go figure. We discussed DD's issues, and the spanking. I know I can't spank these others no matter what, and learned some alternative disciplinary actions. I guess when they get here I won't be spanking DD either anymore...hope like heck I don't NEED to anyway. Sheesh she's 14...you'd think something would have crossed her mind to not pull little kid tantrums by now anyway! So alternative discipline from here on out with her and the kids when they get here.. IF they ever get here. It seems like this is taking nine forevers. We have to go back for an hour next Thursday to turn in our homework, and we're gonna take DD with us and maybe hit a movie while we're out because that class is only an hour. No sense driving two hours to just do that class and come home. I wonder what's even playing it has been soooooo long

Bought a Ford Escape today to replace the van that is almost dead.

thanks. Yeah, I had a newer Escape as a rental to drive while the Focus was getting fixed from the deer strike. It seems like a nice little SUV getting 25 mph - we found one at a decent price online at a dealer in the area.
