Wannabefree...guess what I got in the mail today!?!?!?!?

I've seen plenty of used stoves on CL here for $100 or less. There used to be a guy that was near the farm that had used appliances for $100. But, he and his OH split up. I don't know where he's gone now.

would you believe..........

I found a stove for $165..glass top, but I can't be too picky, right? so I go look at it, I get it. I get it loaded into the truck. I get going down the road...and it flips over and shatters the oven door glass.

Can I cry now? Too late :hit

So what the crap am I supposed to do with two broken stoves?!?!?!! Hope DH likes sandwiches :(

I truly TRULY TRULY hope everyone else is having a better day/week than I am. I'm gonna go hide in a hole somewhere now. Will you all please pray for what little sanity I have left?
 
Thanks Cheerio :) I am so totally over it. I'll just have an ugly stove. I don't think it hurt the functionality...still haven't brought it in yet though. I guess we'll see. I think I can get another piece of tempered glass to fit it. Possibly the pane off the old stove door will fit it, or may can be trimmed down to fit. I need to go measure it. I have just been avoiding it until I cooled off a bit. I'm okay now. All the mess is just so frustrating....

I am sleeeeeeeeeeeepy!!! I've been up since a little before 4 am. Now it's hitting me, and I'm getting sleepy. I need to get the stove in the house though before the sleet and snow hits. I have a few things to finish up outside and then I can come back in and maybe catch a nap before dinner time. I sure hope that stupid stove works!! :/ Otherwise, I'll have to break out the grill, because I am already sick of not being able to cook! chilli dogs are only good for so long ya know :P
 
I was thinking that it wouldn't be too difficult to replace the glass. Just another expense, you don't need. I bet the one from the old oven will work just fine! :fl
