I wondered what you meant when you told Cheerio you couldn't get in your greenhouse! Just so it can make it through the season, then maybe you can use seedling money to tweak it?!

I guess I should be happy (and I am, really. No, really, don't I look happy? ) about this, but I have the opposite problem with my hubs. I MUST draw a plan for what I want (his 'rule'). He critique's my plan, make's corrections, then writes up a material's list, then HE must purchase the materials (I am not careful enough, and bring home sub par materials I think dump picked/recycled materials are just fine, which seems to be an insult to his profession :/ ) Then, when he has the TIME ( ), he will build it. I am allowed to do laborer work, so long as I put up with his bossy nature and do things EXACTLY as he says. I have given up and just went and bought something - win/win in my mind - no work for him, no grief for me. Uh, no. Purchased things are made with the dreaded sub par materials and lacks the quality he expects

OMG SSD!! I have a very similar situation here! I don't need to submit plans, but I do need to be ready to be ordered about and not take it personally when I get yelled at or corrected.

Tonight I started to make chicken soup and wasn't moving quickly enough, so I was booted from the kitchen so that it could be done "properly!"

No. I've been one time and loved it, but I can't justify the gas to go just for chicks.

I am thankful that the only things he can cook are hot dogs ( ) and egg sandwiches, or we would've been in divorce court long ago! The kitchen is MY domain, and I do my best to get my revenge, should he ever foolishly stubble in to MY domain!

I'm actually the bossy one around here DH and DD are sooooo slow sometimes I have been known to just move them aside and get it done, but not in a mean way.... I'm just impatient sometimes with them

The extra money mentioned earlier will DEFINATELY go into the greenhouse! It may go into more lumber for a nearly complete rebuild next year.
