I have ground hogs in my green house. I set a trap for them, but I must have set it wrong cuz they ate the bait, but didn't get caught.

SS, when my kids were little, I had a cicada crash land in the yard. I went over and picked it up and took it in the house. The kids were still asleep. I went in my DD's room, woke her up and showed it to her. Her reaction? Cool.

Then I went into my sons room did the same. He almost went thru the ceiling! His response AAAAHHHH! Get that thing out of here!

Deb, that actually isn't a bad thing if they do that once or twice, then you KNOW you'll get them when you reset it with a little lighter touch. That is usually how we set the trap, secure it open, feed them for a day or so to be sure they're really taking all the bait, and then set it night and light!

Well I don't have flumonia. It's seasonal allergies...never had those before this bad High pollen, so I got a little of the "hair of the dog" today when I went fishing. I got a little more actually, because I look like a lobster Had fun though, no fishies Oh well, it was just down the road this time with the neighbors kiddo. I has a NEW fishing partner...and she's quiet We're going to get our liscenses in a couple weeks and once school is out, between gardening work and farm work...we're hitting the rivers, lakes, creeks, ponds, and wherever else we can I don't care of we don't catch a thing, I just wanna be on the water! There's always swimming if the fish aint biting

Lost another ducky today Down to two...maybe it's not two males. With everybody sick and everything going on I didn't get their tank cleaned out on schedule, and I think maybe it was what caused it. I dunno. It's the only thing I can figure. They've been healthy otherwise! Crapit I had to have done something wrong.

Anyway...meaties are doing good. Everything else is doing good. Even DD is getting better. Back on her chores today thank God! It's the only way I got to go fishing for a couple hours!

So, that has been my day. Hope everyone else had a good one too.

That's pretty much the only thing i can figure out...unless they drowned themselves, but they could get out and away from the water

I was just thinking about the ducks out in the wild - they hang out in some pretty nasty looking ponds, and do OK. Strange.

hope the two left are a breeding pair.

I hope so too! It'd suck if they were both the same gender...especially if both are males. :/ That'd be my luck though

Glad it's just allergies and that you're all feeling better. Sorry about the ducks. But, yay! for fishing! I haven't been fishing since before my dad passed. That was one of our favorite things to do together. That and going to watch the Angels play baseball!
