I'll be "working" Saturday. DW has appointments all day Saturday and that night is the big High School winter ball. Before DW found out about her schedule of appts, she volunteered letting 6 of my DD's "closest" friends to come over a couple of hours prior to hang out, eat pizza, and "get ready" for the dance. Guess who's running the show now?

Oh dear............

Let's see, 7 estrogen-crazed, boy-crazed mid-teens, jacked up on root beer and other sodas. If I could bottle that energy, I would solve the world's energy needs for a decade.

For the public record, these are good girls, awesome grades, acheivers, and generally stick up for those in need....but they are teenage girls.

If this was spring or summer, I could just go hide in the garden. DW had enough sense to ship the youngest off to the grands for the weekend!

actually I have too...but my favorite hiding place is in the bathroom. Everythin ya need is in there running water, toilet, books to read
